  • Memorial University Medical Center, in Savannah, Ga., appointed Charles Neumann interim CEO. On April 9, former president and CEO Bob Colvin was placed on administrative leave. Ramon Meguiar, M.D., was serving as acting CEO since Colvin's departure.
  • Physicians Healthcare Management Group, Inc., an HMO in partnership with physicians, named Gerald Priceman, M.D., medical director of Phyhealth Plan Corp. Priceman was medical director of Physicians United Plan, in Winter Park, Fla.

  • Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy hired Mike Maynard as director of national accounts. Maynard was an integrated delivery network/renal account manager with Roche Pharmaceuticals.
  • The Cooperative Exchange, the association for health care transaction clearinghouses, named new officers. They are President Doug Bilbrey of SSI Group, Inc.; Vice President Ana English of ENS, an Ingenix (UnitedHealth Group) company; and Treasurer Charlotte Martin of Gateway EDI.

  • Allarae Healthcare, Inc., an international developer and distributor of biotechnology and personal health screening products, named Gary Wald marketing and distribution consultant. While consulting for Allarae, Wald will continue running his firm Incubator Partners, a marketing and business development consulting firm.
  • BR Pharma, a global clinical trial supply company that specializes in sourcing comparator drugs, appointed Adele Davis head of clinical trials. Davis was head of clinical trial supplies at ADAllen Pharma, Ltd.

  • Rush Health Systems, headquartered in Meridian, Miss., appointed Christopher Rush director of regional operations. Rush will be responsible for Laird Hospital, Watkins Hospital, Scott Regional Hospital and Alexander Nursing Center. He was with ECG Management Consultants, Inc. in its West Coast health care practice.
  • BancTec, a provider of advanced, high volume, document and payment processing tools and services, named Richard Mobley vice president of its health care services division. Mobley was vice president of electronic data interchange services for Cerner Corp.

  • Prime Therapeutics, a pharmacy benefit management firm, hired Rachelle Wan as vice president of pharmacy trade relations. She was corporate account manager at Amgen, Inc
  • Presbyterian Hospital, in Van Nuys, Calif., appointed Judith Maass vice president and chief nursing officer. Maass was vice president of patient care services at Verdugo Hills Hospital, a 158-bed acute-care community hospital in Glendale.
